Sonic Screwdriver ~Psychic Paper (New Additions)

Well I wanted to post a shot of some recent additions to my collection. That being my Celestial Toystore UE Sonic Screwdriver in the 10th Doctor's model and my new hand made, leather Psychic Paper wallet that now goes with it from Darth Mule of the Replica Prop Forum.

The Sonic is just...gorgeous. I can't express that enough. The new high level of detail and more accurate paint application to the grip knocks this out of the park. Add to that the slightly used look of an added age wash and it looks like I stole this off the set. It's LOUD too...when extended. Yeah unfortunately when closed the grip covers enough of the internal speaker gill to cut the sound but when opened it's loud enough to hear in open air and even in the grocery store over the music. The way I look at it, it's what the slider extension is for anyway. To add power so having it get louder makes sense in that regard. Also...the light in BRIIIIGHT.

Next is the Psychic Paper Wallet. I was lucky to get in on a run of just 20 of these pieces and I am SO glad I did. It's all leather and features several things the toy does not. One being that it has a clear window you can slide a piece of paper in and out of for different messages. Really nice if you want to print up a screen image of something shown on the psychic paper and put it in there. Another thing it has...accurate scale...well, as far as we can tell. See from what we know the wallet is actually a passport cover and so these replicas had to be made bigger to match an actual passport. In all it's nice to have this in my collection to go with my more high grade sonic replicas.

The key is just one of my ERA Tardis Keys so nothing new there. XD
