Then and Now 07

I thought it would be fun to show comparisons between the Daopl Doctor Who and Character Options Doctor Who action figures.

Again, another where I'm comparing the classic Doctor Who series to the modern series, but really I couldn't leave these guys out of it, could I? These are the Sontarans. Cloned soldiers made from genetically engineered DNA to make the perfect soldier...except where the Doctor and U.N.I.T. are concerned.

The Dapol figures are really great considering how tempting it must have been to just mold them with their helmets on or without helmets at all, and they could have just as easily not given them actual eye holes in their helmets opting for just painting the eyes on, but they went the extra mile and here we are. One of the better figures of the Dapol line and really rather sought after as well. Next to them the CO Sontarans areally are very nice however, the basic warrior does not feature a removable helmet, and the General with his baton there, well his helmet doesn't fit on very well at all XD Funny considering the accuracy to the sculpt. One thing though is that they eyes in the helmets are actually smoked clear lenses.
