Well here's the most recent updates to the Custom Sonic Screwdriver. Shown here are the new over all shot including the power couplings, settings dial and upper central shaft made of stainless steel. Second shot is a good close up of the settings dial and Tardis console jack, third is the upper cone that now doubles as the thumb rest and the last shot is a break down of the piece.

It's getting there! XD The guy assembling this prototype and I are still working out a few details but I think the metal work will be done this weekend. He's then going to polish out the casing nice and smooth and get several parts anodized. Then he ships it to me and I fit it for an actual colored glass lens for the emitter and a spring and test it all out then make final revisions and then have him send me a manufacturing sample and that's it! After that we will start taking orders. ^_^
