McFarlane's Maniacs

You know in hind-sight it's pretty easy to be critical of these figures but back in the day, man I'll tell you there was nothing like them! Highly detailed, articulated and with accessories. Hell, Leatherface came with a severed head and arm in a blood soaked bucket! True there were accuracy problems. I mean it's a part 1 Leatherface with the Part 3 chainsaw. Jason is supposedly a Jason Goes to Hell figure but from the neck down he's a Jason Takes Manhattan body and a generic one at that. Freddy is generic too being based more on his appearance in ANOES2. having striped sleeves even though he's supposed to be a part 1 incarnation and he had solid red sleeves in that film and not to mention his glove was all wrong. Michael Myers and the Chucky figure seen here are probably the closest to their actual film incarnations. Still, there's something to be said about the company that really got the Horror genre action figure ball rolling and it's because of them that we have so many figures of our favorite Horror icons made into plastic.
