9th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver by Police-Box-Traveler 9th Doctors Sonic Screwdriver by Police-Box-Traveler
I just wanted to post one of the pictures from a recent product review I did of the Celestial Toystore Series 1&2 Sonic Screwdriver the complete review with pictures can be viewed here: [link]

This picture was taken for the tail end of the review and was just meant to put the Sonic in some context to the show. I chose the Unquiet Dead episode as it was one of my personal favorite 9th Doctor episodes.

A note about some of the items, the Psychic Paper is the Character Options version, the ERA key was made by me and the book is indeed an authentic printing from 1894, sadly not 1869 the year the story takes place and sadly it's not actually a Christmas Carol but Christmas Stories which was a collected book of, well, Christmas stories. XD I just judiciously covered some of the title XD

It really is. If you checked out the link to my review I posted on the Replica Prop Forum you can see some wonderful details to it. They just released their new 10th Doctor version as well.

I love the CT sonic and read your review on the RPF - I have been a member for a long time. I have not purchased either one because of money issues but if I did, I would definitely buy CT's. I like the improvements that he made including sound. Very good review and Lovely pics as well. It was not biased and was very straightforward with no comparisons between the two sonics so as not to put more fuel on the ongoing sonic discussion battle going on there. I have long ago stopped posting about it and am just watching with interest. Thanks for the review, the pics, and I wish I could see this sonic in person.

No kidding? You're on the RPF too? Small world, eh? ^_^

Yeah money issues caused me to have to wait a long time to get this but, I managed to save the money in the end. I have to say that I think it IS much more worth the money then the MFX version. Lots less hassle and much higher quality. When the David Tennant type arrives I am going to get that one too. Really looking forward to CT's improvements on that one.

I agree. I can't wait to see that. I think his 11th sonic will be great too when he gets it done next year according to his blog.

I'm really curious to see how that one turns out though I'm REALLY interested in a classic Baker type XD I mean really, I know it's the most replicated and I do have the RB Replicas type with sound coming but I think CT could make the best version of any XD

I agree. I have one of Russ's very first ones. I want a newer version of the classic driver, so I am interested in seeing what CT can do with that.

I would say to eMail Russ about the new sound sonic he's doing. It's a classic type in his new design but with sound. He's doing a group run for $150 each to keep costs low and MAY have a few slots open ;)
